These are some of our favorite campgrounds around the country that we thought were great not only for our large RV but also fun and safe for our kids

Great big RV sites, everyone has horses, friendly people, pony rides and easy access to other parts of the park.

Easy access to Mount Rushmore, Black Hills, Badlands and Wall Drug. Nice campground with 2 playgrounds, pancake breakfast, nice looking pool (though not open yet when we went).

Brand new park that opened in December 2020. The couple that owns it is wonderful and was willing to do anything to make sure our stay was great. They have awesome handmade yard games to use alongside a big firepit. The views and stars at night are amazing too! Only about 15 minutes from one of the entrances to Big Bend National Park. Our kids especially loved trying to find geodes and fossils amongst the rocks; they found some of each!

Great RV park that also had some cabins available. We had a great spot right across from the playground, which was perfect! Lots of nice grassy areas plus a fishing pond and swimming pool. The staff was amazing too!

We camped here for the entire summer while looking for our new house. The staff is awesome, the area is beautiful and they have mini golf and an amazing pool! Perfect spot to use as home base.
