Lenhart's Cottages in Montauk, United States

Such a great place to stay! The cottages are clean, pet friendly, close enough to downtown Montauk to walk (about 2 miles). The ocean views are incredible and there is a beach access right across the street.

Montauk Lighthouse Museum in Montauk, United States
- mustangdmv
The first lighthouse in New York. There are a lot of trails down to the beach where you can take pets, but they are not allowed on the lighthouse grounds. If you want to go into the lighthouse and museum leave your pets at home.

Inlet Seafood Restaurant in Montauk, United States

Inlet Seafood is a perfect location for a sunset dinner. I highly recommend making a reservation; there was an hour wait for dinner even on the off season. The sushi was fantastic and the entree portions were huge. You'll definitely be taking home left overs.

The Montauket in Montauk, United States

Restaurant option on the sound side of Long Island. It's definitely on the list for next time.

Need to pick up a few things for the beach? Head over to the general store.

Harvest on Fort Pond in Montauk, United States

If you're looking to have a nice dinner out, Harvest was highly recommended by some locals.

Round Swamp Farm Montauk in Montauk, United States

It wasn't open this time, but this is a great farmers market during regular season.

Montauk Bake Shoppe in Montauk, United States

Want to stop by here next trip!

Street Food in Montauk, United States
- mustangdmv
It's called Street Food, but it is definitely not what you'd expect. Right next door to Montauk Brewery. The poke bowl was really good and not too big of a portion. Next time I need to try the dumplings.

Montauk Brewing Company in Montauk, United States

Super chill place to spend an afternoon. They don't serve food, but there are many places close by that you can order from or go pick up food and bring back. Very dog friendly!

Dog friendly restaurant. I'd like to visit here on our next trip!

Joni's in Montauk, United States

Small breakfast place with surfside vibes. They have a lot of vegan and gluten free options as well, so this is a place for everyone!

Goldberg's Bagels in Montauk, United States

The bagels are fresh and delicious. Get a breakfast sandwich and you will NOT need lunch. I had a simple bacon egg and cheese, but the Spicy Hobo looked amazing with a hash brown on the sandwich.

There are many farm stands to visit around the Hamptons and Montauk. Amber Waves has some great local produce and some specialty grocery options. You can also grab a sandwich and eat out on the lawn.
