24 Hours in Atlantic City
Netanya Trimboli
At just 3 hours from DC, Atlantic City is a great destination to have a completely different experience not far from home. But it's not Vegas. Find the "best" places to go and only go to those places. The city can be a bit grimy and a lot of the hotels and casinos look more fun on the outside than they are on the inside.

A very well reviewed restaurant in the Tropicana. Casual surf and turf with a special prime rib dinner special on Sundays and Thursdays.

Great reviews for seafood. Lots of oysters and fish options on the menu. My husband and I split a 2-pound lobster tail and a 6oz filet mignon for $66. It was delicious and indulgent, and very well priced.

The outlets are right in the middle of downtown, so you don't have to make a separate trip out of going shopping. It's the usual suspects type of places, but it's fun that they're so accessible.

This sounds like a fun place to check out. It has a lot of music memorabilia and could be entertaining just to walk through

I believe this place is a must when visiting! It's the main strip, with big hotels, restaurants, and access to the beach.

By far this is the nicest hotel in the area. The rooms are luxurious, as is the indoor pool. Probably the nicest indoor pool I've ever been too (we were there in the winter or we would have gone to the outdoor pool). The casino feels right out of Vegas, unlike most of the other hotels that feel a little sad. A really great vibe and energy and lots of great places to eat as well.

This places is just sad. Having been to the one in Vegas, I was excited to check it out. But there was no music or vibe of any sort. It looked like it hadn't been updated in years and there was nothing fun or exciting about being there.
