Tips from the community

This is a really beautiful place. My gps had a hard time getting us to the trailhead based on the address, but we were able to find it when we searched it by location name. Then from the trailhead, turn left. One of our favorite things was the display of painted rocks along the path. It was a total surprise, but we loved seeing all the art and messages. I did want to note that to get to the actual river part there is a steep bank from the trail, so the water is not very accessible for anyone with mobility issues or strollers. This picture is taken from the trail though, so it’s clearly still visible from above.

Our family loves to walk this trail and look at the water off the dripping rocks. When it’s warm enough we like to play in the water. When it isn’t as warm we like to walk down to the bride and toss rocks into the water.

Great space for playing in the water. Short nature walk but full of fun, simple things. Perfect for young families who don’t have the endurance yet but want to be outside exploring. Wonderful start to our summer!

The painted rock snake along the trail was so cute! Bring a painted rock with you to add to the collection. I wish we had!
