Lázeňská Kolonáda

This is the main collonade next to the fountain. The Colonnade is an icon that could be said to represent the Czech spas, a precious example of a period building common to the Czech and other European spa towns. The interior and the exterior are beautiful! This neo-Baroque Colonnade was built between 1888 and 1889. Their cast-iron construction was made at the ironworks in Blansko and brought to Mariánské Lázně in pieces by train.

As the name says it all, the singing fountain is one of the best attractions in ML. There is a daily program of music played as the fountain springs into life - these performances take place every odd hour from 7 am until 10 pm with the final two displays (9 am & 10 pm), making use of embedded lights.
